Mr. William Lindsey, Therapist
Mr. William Lindsey helps individuals across Texas access compassionate, evidence-driven mental health care tailored to their stage of life and unique challenges. He supports children, adolescents, teens, and adults through a warm, structured approach that emphasizes safety, collaboration, and meaningful progress. At LifeStance Health, he works closely with patients seeking support for anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and addiction recovery, drawing on more than a decade of clinical experience to guide care. He is especially committed to serving children and teens, offering developmentally attuned therapy for school stress, emotional regulation, and family dynamics. Families often seek his guidance when navigating difficult transitions or managing behavioral concerns, and he works with them to restore stability, improve communication, and strengthen resilience. His experience also extends to adults across the lifespan, including those facing midlife changes, later-life adjustments, or persistent mental health conditions. A central focus of his work is helping patients overcome school avoidance and behavioral issues, addiction issues, trauma, anxiety, and PTSD. These areas reflect his deepest clinical passion, and he uses targeted treatment strategies to reduce symptoms, build coping skills, and support long-term recovery and emotional wellbeing. His approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and Family Therapy, with additional interventions available when needed. Mr. Lindsey also provides care for Adoption and Foster Care communities, First Responders, and Military and Veteran populations, while offering additional services beyond those highlighted when appropriate. When not supporting patients, he enjoys watching old westerns, listening to classic rock, and relaxing on his back porch; pastimes that help him stay grounded and connected.
