Eugene Kivett, Therapist
I am a Christian counselor that utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to assist clients in managing difficult anxiety/stress levels they may be experiencing. I have over 25 years’ experience as a licensed therapist that specializes in anxiety disorders, depression management and self-care planning. I also assist clients during difficult transitions in their life such as loss of employment, divorce, relationship issues and complicated grief. I enjoy helping clients recognize and challenge intrusive thoughts that often aggravate depression/anxiety and can lead to toxic guilt/procrastination. I also assist clients in creating and sustaining positive habits/goals they wish to implement into their daily life. These goals include but are not limited to exercising regularly, eating healthier, creating time for hobbies/self-pursuits, and taking time for spiritual growth/meditation.
