Crystal Montoya, Therapist
Crystal R. Montoya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas who has been practicing since 2021. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Schreiner University her Master’s degree in Social Work at Texas State. Crystal strives to meet clients where they are at, while understanding that every client is different. She uses Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) as a starting point with all clients to help establish rapport and determine what goals they’d like to work on. Crystal believes it is essential to maintain an inviting, “open-door” policy that encourages clients to be as open and honest as possible. She has experience and knowledge of 504 accommodations/IEP’s and specializes in crisis management (suicidal ideation/self-harm/social anxiety). Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and cat Boots. She also enjoys listening to music, reading, taking walks outside (when it’s not too hot!), catching up on her favorite shows and taking Zumba classes to dance!
