She found her passion for social work while volunteering at the Poverello House and enjoyed giving back to her community. Alyssa is client centered/client focused with a holistic approach to therapy that utilizes Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing skills. Alyssa sees Motivational Interviewing as a wonderful modality that helps individuals to move through the Stages of Change and really discover what they need in their life’s to make a healthy change for their future self. Alyssa grew up dancing: ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Nowadays she enjoys going to the gym here and there and finding new shows to watch on Hulu.
