Roger Durfey, Therapist
Roger Durfey is a highly qualified and experienced licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both Utah and Nevada. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Utah University and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. With over 24 years of experience, he has helped clients of all ages and ethnic backgrounds overcome a variety of unique challenges. Roger specializes in helping clients struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and adjustment and relationship issues. He provides a safe and comfortable space for individuals, couples, and families to be heard and understood. In addition, he offers a wide range of therapeutic tools, including CBT, DBT, ERP, logic, and wise-mind thinking, to help clients move forward and achieve emotional well-being and happiness. Roger believes that building better life skills and developing strategies to work through difficulties can benefit everyone. As a therapist, he finds it personally rewarding to help others formulate these strategies and provide them with the tools they need to achieve emotional well-being and happiness. When he is not working, Roger enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, cooking on the grill, astronomy, watching movies (especially Star Trek), and building water fountains.
