Kasidi Parkinson, Therapist
Kasidi Parkinson, CMHC helps children, teens, and young adults in Utah navigate life’s challenges with care, compassion, and practical tools for growth. She works with individuals to address struggles such as anxiety, depression, and childhood behavior issues, offering support that is tailored to each person’s unique needs. Kasidi provides individual therapy for children as young as six, adolescents, teens, and adults, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can learn new skills and build resilience. Kasidi is especially passionate about supporting individuals through grief and loss. She understands that the grieving process can feel overwhelming, unpredictable, and deeply personal. Her approach emphasizes validation, gentle guidance, and skill-building to help clients find meaning and healing at their own pace. Whether a client is navigating the loss of a loved one, a major life transition, or the emotional impact of change, Kasidi offers compassionate care designed to foster hope and strength. Drawing on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, sand tray therapy, art therapy and play therapy. Kasidi equips clients with tools to manage difficult emotions and parenting skills, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and improve relationships. She also has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and provides affirming support to members of the LGBTQ+ community. Additional specialties include working with obsessive-compulsive disorder and women’s issues. Outside of her work at LifeStance Health, Kasidi enjoys reading, writing, and crocheting—activities that reflect her appreciation for creativity, learning, and mindfulness. These personal passions also shape her warm and thoughtful presence in the therapy room.
