Melissa Blumell, Therapist

Melissa Joy Blumell is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah who has been practicing since 2015. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Adams State University and is a Registered Play Therapist, privileged to work with children, adults, and families to improve their relationship with themselves and others. The heart of Melissa’s work is to help clients recognize that they are truly valuable and worth the work to heal and change. Her warm, fun style creates a climate where individuals and families can safely explore emotions, improve relationships, and learn new ways of coping. Melissa is trained in Internal Family Systems therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, and Attachment Centered Play Therapy. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, divorce, and parent-child attachment issues. Melissa is honored to help clients recognize their strengths and embrace change as they work toward the life they truly desire. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys connecting with her family, writing, drawing, yoga, and meditation.
