Ruth Baum, Therapist

Willar “Ruth” Baum is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in Virginia who has been practicing since 2002. Ruth offers patients a safe environment where they can come and be authentic and have someone who is genuine in helping them in their efforts to get better. She provides them a milieu where they don’t feel judged, no matter how large or small their issues are. Ruth is well versed in providing clinical services in the areas of Couples and Marital Therapy, Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Family Unification Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Substance Abuse Therapy. She serves Adoptive/Foster Families, Men, Women, Children, Military, and Veterans. Ruth would love to work with you to provide a safe authentic milieu where you can feel your clinical needs are being met. Outside of work, Ruth enjoys crafting using the Cricket machine, sewing, watching football, and playing tennis.
