Ashton Morse, Therapist
Ashton Morse, LPC, helps patients in Virginia navigate life’s most difficult challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. He works with adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors who may be facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or the impact of substance use. At LifeStance Health, he offers a safe space where clients can explore their experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and build stronger connections with themselves and others. Ashton is especially passionate about supporting individuals who are recently discharged from psychiatric hospitals, as well as those navigating court-ordered treatment, custody disputes, or ongoing legal matters. He understands how these situations can be overwhelming and isolating, and he brings a structured, empathetic approach to help patients regain stability and confidence. His dedication to guiding people through these unique challenges reflects his deep commitment to holistic mental health care. Drawing from training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), couples and marital counseling, and family therapy, Ashton tailors treatment to fit the unique needs of each person. He frequently works with first responders, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals experiencing bipolar disorder, grief, or gender identity concerns. In addition to his main areas of focus, he offers support for a range of other concerns, ensuring that treatment is comprehensive and aligned with each patient’s goals. Outside of his clinical work, Ashton enjoys creative outlets and physical activities that reflect his vibrant personality. He is passionate about tabletop games—especially deck-builders, dungeon-crawlers, and social deduction formats—and spends time exploring aerial silks, volleyball, and crafting costumes and props for cosplay.
