Meg believes in working with families to facilitate change and improve relationships. She utilizes techniques from Family Systems Theories, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play Therapy and Positive Psychology. She also enjoys using Christian counseling techniques including Catholic spirituality for those interested in this type of intervention. Meg has a Master’s Degree (Ed.M) from Washington State University in Counseling Psychology (2001). She has 14 years experience in mental health and is a Child Mental Health Specialist. Meg has worked for 7 years in a community mental health agency serving families, children and adults. She has also volunteered as a Victim’s Advocate providing support for traumatized children and their families. This allowed Meg to obtain additional, specialized training for victims of abuse. She has spent the last 7 years working as a Designated Mental Health Professional providing assessments and support for individuals in crisis.
