Danielle Spitzer, Therapist

Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University (Kentucky). She has been in the mental health field since 2010 with positions including individual therapist, life coach, insurance authorization specialist, and volunteer. She has experience working with adults in numerous levels of care including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient therapy. Her unique experiences have allowed her to treat multiple mental health disorders including OCD, generalized and social anxiety, panic disorder, skin picking, hair pulling, depression, body image issues, trauma history, and mood disorders. Danielle relies on evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Restructuring, Behavioral Activation, and Habit Reversal Training to address clients’ symptoms. No matter where you are on your road to recovery, Danielle will work with you to discover where you want to be. She enjoys getting to know her clients personally and will build a trusting and collaborative approach with you to build long-term goals and successes.
