Cassandra Downey, EdD, LPC helps individuals and families across Wisconsin find healing, resilience, and renewed purpose through compassionate, evidence-based care. She works with adults and seniors who are facing life’s challenges, offering a safe and supportive environment to process emotions and discover effective strategies for growth. With many years of clinical experience, Dr. Downey specializes in treating concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship struggles, while also helping couples build healthier communication and stronger bonds. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and faith-based approaches, she tailors care to meet each person’s unique needs and values. She also has extensive experience serving first responders, military members, and veterans, honoring the unique stressors these groups face and offering strategies that promote resilience and well-being. With an approach rooted in empathy and respect, Dr. Downey believes that meaningful change is possible at any stage of life. She supports patients through later-life transitions, helps women navigate personal and relational challenges, and guides families and couples through difficult seasons with understanding and practical tools for healing. Her practice also offers additional therapeutic services designed to adapt to the diverse needs of her patients.
