Emily Jones, Therapist
Emily Jones, LPC, helps teens and adults across Wisconsin build practical tools to manage overwhelming emotions, strengthen relationships, and move toward lasting change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with LifeStance Health, she provides individual and group therapy grounded in evidence-based practices for adolescents (11–14), teens, and adults. Her approach is collaborative, structured, and compassionate designed to support clients in Wisconsin who are seeking meaningful progress with anxiety, trauma, substance use concerns, and more. Emily specializes in treating anxiety, PTSD/trauma, and alcohol and drug use issues, and she offers additional support for conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and sleep disturbances. She is thoroughly trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Therapy to help clients challenge unhelpful thought patterns, reduce avoidance behaviors, and build resilience. Emily also provides court-ordered treatment, delivering structured, accountable care while maintaining respect and empathy for each individual’s circumstances. A particular passion of Emily’s is working with the AODA population. She understands the complex emotional, behavioral, and environmental factors that contribute to substance use and recovery. Her work focuses on helping clients increase insight, develop coping strategies, and rebuild stability in their daily lives. By combining clinical expertise with a nonjudgmental stance, she supports sustainable recovery and healthier decision-making. Emily has experience serving diverse populations, including individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, and military/veterans. She is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, affirmed, and understood. Outside of her clinical work, Emily enjoys video games—especially RPGs and Call of Duty (with Black Ops 1 Zombies still a favorite). She sings and plays piano, follows the Wisconsin Badgers, and loves spending time with her dog, Shadow, who may occasionally make a curious appearance during virtual sessions.
