Shane Leach, Therapist
Shane Leach, LCSW, helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults across Wisconsin develop the skills needed to manage stress, regulate emotions, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with LifeStance Health, he offers individual, family, and group therapy, along with higher levels of care including Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP). Shane creates a structured, supportive environment where clients can safely address challenges, strengthen coping strategies, and make steady, meaningful progress. His clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, and childhood behavioral issues, with a strong emphasis on helping young clients and their families navigate school avoidance and emotional dysregulation. Shane works collaboratively with clients to better understand the patterns driving their experiences while building practical tools to improve functioning at home, school, and work. He is known for balancing empathy with a goal-oriented approach that supports both immediate stabilization and long-term growth. Shane is passionate about working with children and teens facing school avoidance and related behavioral challenges. He partners closely with families to address the underlying causes of disengagement, helping young clients rebuild confidence, reestablish routines, and successfully reconnect with their academic and social environments. His work in this area reflects a commitment to early intervention and sustainable change. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, Shane equips clients with tools to manage difficult thoughts, tolerate distress, and improve emotional regulation. He also offers additional therapeutic modalities to meet a broad range of needs. Shane has experience supporting diverse populations, including individuals connected to adoption and foster care, autism spectrum disorders, and LGBTQ+ communities, ensuring care is inclusive and individualized. Outside of his clinical work, Shane enjoys staying active through sports, engaging in cooperative gaming, and attending live music.
