Teresa Bay, Therapist
Teresa Bay is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Wisconsin who works with adults, adolescents, couples and families facing a wide range of life challenges. Teresa uses a solution focused, down to earth and compassionate approach to assisting clients with complex life problems and coping with mental health difficulties. Teresa also draws from a wide array of personal life experiences and this strongly enhances an informs her abilities to connect with clients and meet them where they are at in working towards the goals of emotional healing and personal growth. She is experienced in working with client’s with severe mental health disorders, dual diagnoses, families in crisis, survivors of trauma/abuse, and those coping with significant life change such as death, change in marital status, aging, disability and other major life transitions. Teresa’s main focus is on navigating others toward greater self awareness, self empowerment, cultivating stronger relationships with others, and to achieve a more balanced and spiritually meaningful life. Teresa earned her bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as a Master of Science in professional counseling through Capella University-Minneapolis, MN.
