Tamika Winns, Therapy Clinician
Tamika Winns, LMSW, helps adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors across Delaware build practical skills to manage life’s challenges and strengthen emotional well-being. As a Licensed Master Social Worker with LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and mood disorders. Serving communities throughout DE, Tamika creates a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful change. Tamika is especially experienced in treating anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and ADHD, as well as alcohol and drug use issues. She understands how symptoms such as racing thoughts, low motivation, inattention, and emotional overwhelm can disrupt school, work, and relationships. Using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies, she helps clients develop healthier coping patterns, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. She also incorporates CBT for Insomnia when sleep difficulties are contributing to mental health concerns. In addition to individual therapy, she offers couples counseling and family therapy to strengthen communication and restore connection. Tamika works with teens (11–17), young adults, adults, and older adults, and has experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and developmental disabilities. She tailors treatment to each stage of life, whether addressing school avoidance in adolescents, midlife transitions, or later life adjustments. Her approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in clinical best practices. Outside of her work, Tamika enjoys road trips, visiting local farmers markets, and discovering new cuisines.
Tamika Winns provides services with supervision.
