Keyera Smith, Therapy Clinician
Keyera Smith, LSW, helps patients across Illinois find steadier ground during times of stress, transition, and emotional difficulty. She supports teens and adults through individual and family therapy, offering a calm and collaborative space where people can understand their experiences, build coping strategies, and restore a sense of balance. Keyera provides care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, and grief. She also assists individuals navigating midlife transitions, school avoidance, and childhood behavior issues, bringing a thoughtful and culturally aware perspective to each session. Her work is strengthened by a commitment to helping families improve communication and strengthen relationships. Although no additional specialties were designated for emphasis, Keyera is deeply passionate about supporting teens facing academic strain or emotional overwhelm, individuals healing from trauma, and those coping with significant life changes. She strives to help patients reconnect with their strengths and move forward with greater clarity and resilience. Keyera works frequently with adoptive and foster care communities, as well as individuals seeking support around men’s or women’s issues. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy methods, and Mindfulness techniques into treatment and offers additional interventions when clinically appropriate to ensure care is both practical and personalized. Outside her work at LifeStance Health, Keyera enjoys reading, traveling, exploring museums— especially exhibitions featuring historical art and watching movies both at home and in theaters.
Keyera Smith provides services with supervision.
