Lucy Craycroft, Therapy Clinician
Lucy Craycroft, LSW, helps individuals across Illinois build stability, resilience, and a renewed sense of direction through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care at LifeStance Health. She provides individual therapy for teens, adults, and seniors, supporting clients through life’s challenges with a steady, nonjudgmental approach. Lucy commonly works with concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also addressing a wide range of additional mental health needs. Lucy is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating complex and high-stress circumstances, including those recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital, those participating in court-ordered treatment, or individuals involved in current legal matters. She understands the importance of structure, accountability, and empathy during these times, and works collaboratively with clients to promote stability, emotional regulation, and meaningful progress forward. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, manage emotions, and build healthier patterns. Lucy also has experience working with teens and offers support for school-related challenges, while providing care that is responsive to diverse populations, including individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, military/veterans, and those with developmental differences. She offers additional specialties and interventions to meet a wide range of client needs. Lucy creates a warm and welcoming space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and develop practical tools for lasting change. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys reading, crocheting, coloring, cross-stitch, building things, and completing word searches—activities that reflect her thoughtful and creative nature.
Lucy Craycroft provides services with supervision.
