Jorie Burgess, Therapy Clinician
I’m Jorie Burgess, LSW, and I help children, teens, and young adults across Illinois build coping skills, strengthen emotional resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. As a provisionally licensed social worker at LifeStance Health, I provide individualized therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, school avoidance, emotional regulation, and life transitions.
I work from a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths‑based approach. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you make meaningful changes. I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness strategies, and—when helpful—parenting skills to support the whole family system.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, including those within the LGBTQ+ community and individuals with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities. No matter your background or identity, I meet you where you are and help you build practical tools you can use in everyday life.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy reading, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. I value balance—making room for both growth and rest.
Jorie Burgess provides services with supervision.
