Kristi Kauth, Therapy Clinician
I’m Kristina Kauth, MSW, LSW, and I’m glad you’re here. I provide compassionate, client-centered therapy to children, teens, adults, and older adults across Illinois through LifeStance Health. I work with individuals, couples, and families who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship stress, or life transitions, and I focus on helping you feel more grounded, supported, and confident in your day-to-day life.
I have experience working with individuals and families involved in adoption or foster care, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military members and veterans. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. This transition can feel uncertain and heavy, and my goal is to provide a calm, steady space where we can focus on stabilization, coping skills, and rebuilding a sense of safety and hope.
My approach is collaborative and gentle, drawing from evidence-based therapies including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). EMDR is a central part of my work and can be especially helpful in processing trauma or painful experiences that still feel close or overwhelming. I tailor therapy to your unique needs and move at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, spending time with my puppy, staying active, and solving puzzles.
Kristi Kauth provides services with supervision.
