Rachel Ellingson, Therapy Clinician
Rachel Ellingson helps adults build stability, resilience, and meaningful change through compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals across Minnesota. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she partners with adults and seniors to reduce emotional distress, strengthen coping skills, and support long-term wellness, offering care that is grounded, respectful, and tailored to each person’s goals.
Rachel works with adults ages 18 through older adulthood, providing individual therapy and group therapy for concerns such as alcohol and drug use issues, anxiety, and depression. Her approach blends clinical expertise with warmth and collaboration, helping patients clarify what matters most and take practical steps forward during times of stress, transition, or recovery. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and faith-based approaches when aligned with a patient’s values, and she offers additional therapeutic options as needs evolve.
A central focus of Rachel’s work is supporting individuals impacted by substance use. She is especially passionate about helping people navigate recovery, address underlying emotional patterns, and rebuild healthy routines and relationships. With a nonjudgmental stance, she supports motivation, accountability, and sustainable change, recognizing that recovery looks different for each person and unfolds over time.
Rachel began practicing in 2025 and values creating a supportive space where patients feel heard and empowered. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, staying active through sports, and spending quality time with friends and family—interests that reflect her belief in balance and connection as foundations of mental health.
Rachel Ellingson provides services with supervision.
