Anne-Marie Gough, Therapy Clinician
Anne-Marie Gough, LCSW-Associate, helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults across North Carolina build practical skills to manage emotions, improve focus, and navigate life transitions with greater confidence. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy tailored to each patient’s needs, supporting concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression while offering additional areas of support. She has a strong passion for working with youth and young adults, particularly those facing challenges with attention, emotional regulation, and school-related stress. Anne-Marie is especially committed to helping children and teens develop coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and improve daily functioning at home and in academic settings. She also supports young adults navigating identity, independence, and life direction during pivotal developmental stages. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. Anne-Marie incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques to help patients better understand their thoughts and behaviors, reduce distress, and build healthier patterns. She also offers additional therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of those she serves. Outside of her clinical work, Anne-Marie enjoys reading, weightlifting, and traveling.
