Schwanna Jenkins, LCSW-Associate, helps children, teens, adults, and seniors across North Carolina build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clinical skill. As a provisionally licensed social worker with LifeStance Health, she provides individual, couples, and family therapy tailored to each stage of life. Schwanna supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, while also addressing relationship concerns and life transitions through a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens. She is especially passionate about helping individuals and families strengthen family and relationship dynamics, navigate life transitions, and develop emotional regulation and skill-building strategies. Schwanna creates a supportive environment where clients can explore patterns, process intergenerational experiences, and build healthier ways of connecting. Her work emphasizes empowerment, practical coping tools, and meaningful, lasting change. Schwanna utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness techniques, while also offering faith-based support when requested. She has experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, LGBTQ+ clients, and military/veterans, and offers additional areas of support to meet a wide range of mental health needs. Known for her warm, engaging presence, Schwanna is deeply committed to creating safe spaces for healing and connection. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys public speaking, community advocacy, hosting empowerment events, writing inspirational content, and spending quality time with her family while exploring new restaurants.
