Michelle Jimenez, Therapy Clinician
Michelle Jimenez helps individuals and families across New Jersey navigate life’s challenges with compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. As a counselor associate at LifeStance Health, she provides a supportive and structured environment where clients can build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and develop practical coping skills. Michelle works with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, offering individual, couples, and family therapy tailored to each stage of life. Michelle has experience supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also addressing concerns such as relationship stress, life transitions, and trauma. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family therapy techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, regulate emotions, and strengthen relationships. She also works with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military families, and individuals connected to foster or adoptive care systems, while offering additional areas of support based on each client’s needs. Michelle is especially committed to helping clients work through complex emotional and behavioral challenges, empowering them to create meaningful, lasting change. She values collaboration and meets each client where they are, ensuring therapy progresses at a comfortable and effective pace. Fluent in Russian, Michelle is able to support a broader range of individuals and families with culturally responsive care. Outside of her clinical work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her children and staying active through swimming, tennis, ice skating, and snowboarding. She has a passion for animals, having rescued a partially blind dog from Germany and caring for three cats. In the summer, she also works as a swim coach, reflecting her dedication to mentorship and personal growth.
