Hannah King, MSW, LSWAIC
Hannah King helps teens and adults across Washington navigate anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, and major life transitions with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based mental health care. As a Social Worker Associate at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for patients seeking support with anxiety disorders, OCD, postpartum mental health concerns, reproductive challenges, and emotional recovery after difficult life experiences. Hannah creates a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where patients can feel safe processing their experiences while building practical tools for long-term healing and resilience. Hannah is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital and are adjusting to life after intensive mental health treatment. She understands that this transition can feel overwhelming, isolating, and uncertain, and she works closely with patients to rebuild stability, strengthen coping strategies, and regain confidence in daily life. Her approach emphasizes emotional safety, collaboration, and helping patients reconnect with their sense of identity and hope during recovery. She also has experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, women navigating postpartum and reproductive mental health challenges, and individuals processing religious trauma or identity-related concerns. Hannah incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Therapy, mindfulness practices, and faith-based treatment approaches when appropriate to support each patient’s unique goals and values. In addition to anxiety, OCD, and PTSD/trauma, she provides support for midlife and later-life transitions while offering care for additional mental health concerns. Hannah began practicing in 2023 and studied at the University of Houston and the University of Idaho. She believes therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to each individual’s lived experience rather than a one-size-fits-all process. Outside of her clinical work, Hannah enjoys hiking, gardening, and relaxing with a good book. She loves spending time with her son and playing with her affectionate golden retriever, both of whom bring warmth and joy to her everyday life.
