Misty Reid, Nurse Practitioner

Misty Reid helps patients across Colorado find clarity, stability, and hope through attentive, individualized mental health care at LifeStance Health. She supports children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors through both therapy and medication management, offering a balanced and compassionate approach for concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma. Misty partners with individuals and families to uncover what is getting in the way of well-being and to create treatment plans that feel both effective and sustainable. A central focus of Misty’s work is helping families navigate the challenges of ADHD. As a parent of a child with ADHD, she understands firsthand the confusion, worry, and persistence often required to find the right diagnosis and treatment fit. This lived experience deepens her ability to guide caregivers and young people through behavioral concerns, school struggles, emotional regulation needs, and the complex decision-making around interventions. She brings a reassuring, evidence-informed style that empowers families to advocate for their children and celebrate growth along the way. Misty’s clinical expertise includes anxiety, PTSD/trauma, and ADHD, along with additional specialties such as substance-use concerns, sleep disorders, and women’s mental health. She offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based support, and Christian or faith-integrated counseling when desired. She also provides psychological and neuropsychological testing to clarify diagnoses and inform treatment. Her work extends to diverse populations, including first responders, LGBTQ+ individuals, and military and veteran communities, with additional services available based on patient need. Outside her clinical practice, Misty finds joy on the ice playing hockey and cheering for the Minnesota Wild. She and her three boys spend as much time as possible camping, fishing, and embracing Colorado’s expansive outdoors.
