Keren Friedman, Psychiatrist
I am a board certified psychiatrist and my practice includes the treatment of adults and adolescents ages 16 and older. Having received specialty training in Women’s Mental Health, I am experienced with mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Mental health and psychiatric symptoms are complex, and affected both by brain chemistry and environmental factors. I listen closely to understand the details of a patient’s life in order to determine the best course of treatment. When medication is indicated, I strive to develop safe and effective regimens with my patients.
I completed my psychiatry training at UC San Diego, where I also served as Chief Resident of Outpatient Services. Prior to this, I earned my medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University.
