Maire Diemer, PhD, helps individuals and families across South Carolina navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges with a calm, evidence-based, and compassionate approach. She supports patients across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors—through individual, group, and family therapy at LifeStance Health. Maire is especially dedicated to providing thoughtful care for patients who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital, helping them stabilize, regain confidence, and reconnect with daily life. She offers structured intervention, practical coping strategies, and a supportive therapeutic space that focuses on safety, continuity of care, and long-term resilience. Her deepest clinical passion centers on early childhood concerns, women’s health and reproductive issues, and autism evaluation. She provides developmentally sensitive assessment and treatment for infants, toddlers, and young children, with specialized expertise in psychological testing for autism, developmental delays, and ADHD. She also supports women navigating postpartum depression and anxiety, reproductive challenges, and associated mood or identity shifts, creating space for healing that integrates both emotional and physical health experiences. Maire incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches, along with additional interventions as clinically appropriate.
