Michelle Bilderbeck, MC, Professional Counselor Associate
Michelle Bilderbeck is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Oregon who has been practicing since 2022. She has a Masters in Counseling from Oregon State University. Michelle believes that all clients hold many of life’s answers within themselves. It’s a matter of how we get to those answers together. It’s an honor for Michelle to work alongside her clients to help unlock some of those. Strong emotions and behaviors that come with depression, anxiety, social discomforts, traumas, cultural barriers, and others can make it difficult to peel off those layers. As a counselor, Michelle approaches these conversations with these considerations in mind to properly practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her main methods combine CBT and Relational-Cultural Theory to ensure that she is working toward her client’s personal and family (if applicable) goals rather than what is expected and/or assumed of others. More than anything, Michelle will provide the safe space to process difficult questions and situations so that you can eventually feel proud of the internal work you’ve put in. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys reading a book, practicing yoga, or cuddling her adored Pug named Penny. She also loves sports and helps coach a high school softball team.
